I’m riding to test myself against my nemesis, namely hills/mountains, never been the keenest on them, but with a lot of mind over matter I’ll be in Cannes. I realise that I’m very fortunate to have got a seat on this year’s 10th anniversary ride, so I’m up to make the most of it. It’s also one way to test rule 8, and ‘harden the fuck-up’.
