since having my bottom baptised by cycling the 120 mile tour de france route london to canterbury as part of the stage one events of the tour de france with the fireflies in 2007, i have become somewhat foolishly addicted to placing my bottom in uncomfortabe positions, the smell of sweaty lycra, tesco’s flapjacks and of course the infectious company of the firefly peeps.. i have been riding the alps with them every year since then.
i ride every year in memory of bumper who lost his battle with cancer 10 years ago this summer… i also ride this year and in fact dedicate my ride this year to steve and dee who have both been diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
likes: (loves) tidiness, spinning around till i fall down, feeling giddy, laughing till i cry and marmots.
dislikes: being scared.. i have the fear of the mountains again… it’s making me giddy
worries: that my lady bits might never recover and that my thighs might never fit into skinny jeans again.
