Cycled to school as a kid, stopped at 14 with growing pains, started again at 43 when Ben Hampshire lent me a bike over Christmas, ridden that bike ever since.
Worked with Adrian Moat since before it all started and watched with intrigue every year.
Finally joined in 2008, riding because I just love it, great escape, me, my bike and fellow riders, all for a worthy cause.
I enjoy riding with people of all abilities, if I can keep up. Happiest sweeping through a valley in a fast peloton, climbing hard and descending rapidly and safely.
I dislike stopping in Cannes, feel like stopping for a beer and carrying on, the whole ride is just such an amazing high!
